Asrofi received his Doctoral degree in Bionanocomposite Materials, Postgraduate Program of Agriculture Faculty (Multidisciplinary), Universitas Andalas in December 2018. His supervisor is Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hairul Abral. His research focuses on nanocellulose, biocomposite and natural fiber reinforced polymer. Currently, he works as lecturer and researcher in Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Jember. Beside that, he is a consultant of research and development in bioplastic industry (Sauraj Industries Ltd, Zambia)
